MINUTES OF VMC
MEETING HELD ON 31-08-09
A meeting of the
Vidyalaya Management Committee was held in the Vidyalaya at 11.00a.m on 31-08-09. The following members attended the meeting.

The meeting started with an invocation to Goddess Saraswati by lighting the lamp and Saraswati vandana.
Chairman and all the other members were welcomed by floral bouquets and
a welcome song.
Principal extended a hearty welcome to the Honorable Chairman and all
other members of VMC. He apprised the
achievements of the Vidyalaya for the year 2008-2009 and mentioned the tasks
that are taken by the teachers for better performance, especially for classes
X&XII.
Principal also recommended the need for suitable teachers and stressed
for more infrastructure developments in the Vidyalaya.
Later principal briefed the members about the powers and functions of
the Vidyalaya Executive Committee and formed a new Executive Committee for next
three year’s to monitor the academic
and administrative committees to monitor the academic and administrative
functioning
of the Vidyalaya. He reiterated the need to plan for the expenditure of
unutilized funds for infrastructure developments and placed before the
Honorable chairman the following proposals.
ACADEMICS
All these steps were accepted by all the
members of the committee and appraised
the principal for starting such challenging tasks
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES..
Under extra-curricular activities the
following proposals were placed before the
committee.
1.
To establish
nature club and adventure club in the Vidyalaya and its affiliation with WWF
and adventure foundation & conduct of adventure activities which bring
courage & co-opration traits in the students.
2.
To have
educational excursion to places of scientific and historic importance and
nature conservation centers during breaks.
3.
To start
value education club to boost the morale of students and to inculcate moral
education.
INFRA-STRUCTURE DEVELOPMENTS
For the infrastructure developments in the
Vidyalaya the following proposals were placed before the committee.
1.
Construction
of a computer lab and purchase of computers and furniture and extension of the
existing laboratory.
2.
Installation
of security lights in and around the Vidyalaya.
3.
Purchase of a
generator
4.
Installation
of inter-com in the primary wing and other departments.
5.
Upgradation
of children’s park
6.
Renovation of
Principal’s and Vice-Principal’s rooms and office.
7.
Installation
of an observatory
8.
Construction
of benches/seats in the campus.
9.
To renovate
the basket ball court and to make it of standard size and quality.
10.
Development
of Scouts and Guides Park.
11.
Purchase of
chairs for library, staffroom and moulded chairs for meetings.
12.
Purchase of a
sofa set
.
All the members expressed their gladness for the new infra structure
developments to be taken up in the
Vidyalaya and stressed the need to go for the priorities.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
Under building maintenance the following proposals were placed before
the committee.
1.
White wash
and co lour wash of the corridors, classrooms and buildings; cleaning and
polishing of the floors..
2.
Tree
plantation and beautification.
3.
Painting the
corridors and classrooms with pictures of nursery rhymes /stories in the
primary wing.
SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION WORKS
The proposals for special works with funds from KVS were also placed
before the committee for onward transmission to KVS(RO) Bhopal and (HQRS) New
Delhi respectively.
1.
Re wiring and
replacement of electrical points and their repair.
2.
Extension of
cycle/ scooter stands.
3.
Renovation of
toilets and bathroom –laying of tiles.
4.
Construction
of ten extra classrooms.
5.
Roof
treatment..
6.
Renovation of
roads.
A positive resolution was passed for all the proposals placed before
the committee and Honorable Chairman expressed his happiness over the latest
developments in the Vidyalaya.
Later the committee was apprised of the condemnation of the articles of the various departments and article worth Rs.50000 was written off with the approval of the Vidyalaya Executive Committee. Finally the meeting ended with vote of thanks by the Vice-principal.
